Psychologist (Warsaw University, Faculty of Psychology), psychotherapist (Professional School of Psychotherapy by SWS). For 15 years involved in actions focused on primary prevention of cancers, education of medical communities and limitation of health consequences of smoking tobacco in Poland, especially topics concerning treatment of Tobacco Addiction Syndrome. Since 2002, manager of the Outpatients Clinic for Smokers by the Oncology Centre – Institute in Warsaw. She also manages country-wide Telephone Assistance Clinic. Co-author of a course on diagnostics and treatment of tobacco addiction syndrome accredited by the Ministry of Health and original workshops for smokers. She has many years of experience in assisting smokers (individual or group).
Co-ordinator of many domestic and international research projects. Author of 7 scientific publications (peer-reviewed) and 7 book publications, chapters, monographs, educational programmed, verbal conference presentations, abstracts and posters. Member of the European Board of the International Network of Women Against Tobacco.
