Grzegorz Juszczyk MD, Ph.D.

Director of the National Institute of Public Health – PZH

Expert in the field of public health. Since 2003, he has been a scientific worker at the Public Health Department of the Medical University of Warsaw. He collaborated with Medicover and the LUX MED Group, where he planned and implemented pro-health activities in the workplace together with employers. He managed the Health Education Office in the LUX MED Group. He represented Polish employers in the European Commission Advisory Committee for Safety and Health at Work.

In September 2017, appointed the Director of the National Institute of Public Health – National Institute of Hygiene, whose mission is to shape and support the public health system in Poland. At the Institute, programs under the National Health Program covering the issues of senior citizens, prevention of HCV infections, anti-smoking, protection against UV radiation.
Grzegorz Juszczyk is an author and co-author of several dozen original scientific papers. In his scientific work to date, he has focused on assessing health status and preventive measures for people of working age.
