Acting President of the Medical Research Agency
Polish doctor specialising in cardiology and a manager specialising in managing of the medical sector, clinical trials, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and a science management, acting as the president of the Medical Research Agency.
A graduate of the First Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw. In June 2018, he obtained a doctoral degree at the Institute of Cardiology with the doctoral dissertation ‘Single-centre results of the multi-centre Register of Electrical Storms RECOVERY’.
Author of scientific and popular science publications and speeches at international medical congresses in the field of cardiology, telemedicine and healthcare organisation.
Worked for the Cardiac Arrythmia Clinic at the Institute of Cardiology and private healthcare units as a doctor and medical director.
In 2018, he was appointed to the political cabinet of the Minister of Health Łukasz Szumowski as an adviser. His areas of interest include innovative technologies, management and commercialisation of research.
He is a member of the Council of the National Centre for Research and Development representing the Minister of Health and expert teams to the Minister of Health. Chairman of the Social Council of the Silesian Centre for Heart Diseases in Zabrze and deputy chairman of the Social Council of OW Mazowiecki NFZ. He collaborated with the Foundation and Association Heart for Arrhythmia.
